Hymn
O Mary, Mother of the Good Shepherd,
enlighten and guide the Church
of the Lord.
He who listens to the voice of the Father
And lives the command of love
Has chosen the better part;
He is mother and brother to me.
Refrain.
Through you may his will be fulfilled
in the days of your life.
You must not fear one who is strong,
the Lord will be with you.
Refrain.
Go to the other brothers
And tell them that I have risen.
This is the good news
For people today and always.
Refrain.

O Mary, Mother of the Good Shepherd, enlighten and guide the Church of the Lord.
Magnificat, p. 303.
Let us pray.
Lord Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd, you have given your life for your sheep and from the cross have entrusted us your people, the sheep of your pasture, to the Virgin Mary. Grant that through her intercession we may follow you on earth as our Shepherd, to reach the eternal pastures of heaven. You live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
