We Praise You, God

1. We praise you, God; we acknowledge you to be the Lord.
2. All the earth worships you, the everlasting Father.
3. To you all the angels, the heavens, and all the Powers,
4. The Cherubim and Seraphim cry out without ceasing:
5. Holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts!

6. The majesty of your glory fills the heavens and the earth.
7. The glorious company of apostles,
8. The worthy fellowship of the prophets,
9. The white-robed army of martyrs praise you.
10. Through the world the holy Church testifies to you:
11. The Father, whose glory is beyond our comprehension.
12. Your adorable, true and only Son,
13. And the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete.
14. You, Christ, are the king of glory.
15. You are the eternal Son of the Father.
16. You did not disdain a virgin’s womb to redeem man.
17. You overcame death and opened the kingdom of heaven for the faithful.
18. Now you are seated at the right hand of God in the glory of the Father.
19. We believe that you will come again as judge.
20. Help your servants, whom you have redeemed with your precious blood.
21. Number them among your saints in everlasting glory.

22. Save your people, Lord, and bless your inheritance.
23. And govern them and keep them safe forever.
24. Through each day we bless you.
25. And praise your name forever; indeed, forever and ever.
26. Lord, keep us without sin this day.
27. Have mercy on us, Lord; have mercy on us.
28. Lord, let your mercy be upon us as we have trusted in you.
29. In your mercy, Lord, I have trusted; let me not be put to shame forever.

℣. Let us bless the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
℟. Let us praise and exalt him forever.
℣. Blessed are you, Lord, in the firmament of heaven.
℟. Worthy to be praised, glorified, and exalted above all forever.
℣. Lord, hear my prayer.
℟. And let my plea be heard.
℣. The Lord be with you.
℟. And also with you.

Let us pray.
God, your mercy is limitless, and the treasury of your goodness is boundless. We give thanks to your gracious majesty for the gifts we have received. We look to you for an answer to our every petition; to continue your kindness, and forsake us not, and prepareì us for the reward to come. Amen.
