From Thy Great Throne

From thy great throne in heaven, O loving Mary,
Do cast thine eyes on all who seek and call thee.
Accept, O Mother, gifts to thee ascending,
The hymns and prayers
that our hearts thee do sing.

Thou art the joy and peace
that in each heart reigns,
Thou are the comfort,
hope in all our pains.
Beneath thy gaze,
O our most loving Mother,
We live our life and so we wish to die.
O Mary, of Apostles, Queen and guide,
be thou our Light.
Dear Mother,
be ever at our side, help us do right.
Grant at the end
of our sojourn on this earth,
Our soul with peace may take its flight,
To reign with thee.
