The redemption reaches us through people: the hierarchy of the priesthood, men and women religious, the laity, cooperators in the mission. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you. Go out” (Jn 20:21; Mt 28:19). The Church gathers and feeds the sheep and lambs to guide them lovingly into the heavenly sheepfold. God wants everyone to be saved and to come to the truth (see 1 Tim 2:3–7).
O Divine Master, send good laborers into your harvest.
Jesus, Apostle of the Father, grant that I may feel the longing of your heart that there be only one fold and one shepherd.
There are the apostolates of the interior life, of suffering and of prayer, of example and of the media of communications, of word and of vocation, the apostolate of charity in truth.
O Mary, arouse in everyone a strong desire for salvation in Christ and in the Church.
