XXIV

In Christ and in the Church Christian civilization finds its fulfillment: the Christian alliance of nations. Christian civilization is ordered in a way that conforms to the Gospel, according to the interpretation given by the magisterium of the popes. Christian living together is
human-evangelical, in truth, in order, in peace, in progress. It is the way to the kingdom of God (see 1 Pt 2:1–17).

I adore your wisdom, O Divine Master. You have willed that civil society and the Church be independent but linked in an admirable cooperation.
You want union among all nations: all children of God, redeemed by your blood, journeying toward the house of the Father. In Christian civilization is to be found the greatest temporal and spiritual progress.
