Having finished the lessons of example at Nazareth, Jesus Christ begins the school of the spoken word. On the Mount of the Beatitudes he outlines the way of peace and salvation, announces the new law of love, revealing God to all humanity (see Mt 5:1–12; Lk 4:14–30; 6:20–38).
I adore and thank you, O Divine Master, who declared yourself to be the Way and Truth and Life.
I recognize you as the Way I must follow, the Truth I must believe, the Life I must yearn for.
You are my all and I want to be totally yours: mind, will, and heart.
Glory to God . . .
