℣. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you.
℟. Because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.
Mary awaits with lively faith the resurrection of her Son, as he had predicted: “On the third day I will rise again” (see Mt 20:19).
I firmly believe, my God, in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, as I believe in the resurrection of the body. Every day I want to rise to a new life so as to merit to arise in the glory of the last day.
℣. Save us, O Christ our Savior, through the power of your cross.
℟. You who saved Peter on the sea, have mercy on us.
Let us pray.
Father, you willed to save all people through the death of Christ, your Son, on the cross. Grant that we who have known his mystery of love on earth may enjoy the fruits of the redemption in heaven. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be, according to the intentions of the Holy Father.
