From 8-26 June 2022, Eight Korean FSPs and two novices carried out an intensive itinerant mission to bring the Good News to the parishes of Busan, Ulsan and Kimhae in the Busan Diocese, and Changwon City in the Masan Diocese.
Many events were organized to involve the parishioners more fully in the mission, including a dramatization of the Gospel passage of the prodigal son, a “danced” prayer, and a media presentation through pictures.
As parish communities resumed their activities after being isolated for more than two years due to the coronavirus, they welcomed our Pauline apostles enthusiastically. The sisters’ evangelization program, which centered on Word of God, was embraced like rain after a drought.
When they returned home, the members of the evangelizing team recounted their wonderful experiences among the people, who said their faith had been strengthened by the Pauline presence and by the Lord whom they felt among them. Members of the Pauline Cooperators Association collaborated with the initiative by providing our missionaries with spiritual and physical food to reinforce their apostolic stamina. At the end of their experience as postmistresses of the Lord, the sisters said they are praying that the seeds of peace and joy that were sown will remain in the hearts of the people they met and that the Word of God will continue to “race forward” to reach every city and town in the country.
